Another day, another Game Seven for the Rangers. We all know what the Rangers need to do tonight. They need to win the special teams battle. They need to win the boards battle. They need to win the defensive battle. They need to win the high-priced real estate. They need to score. If you have a heart monitor, I’d recommend using it tonight. If you’re like me, you will need a beverage or two to get through this.

  1. Chris F says:

I don’t wanna hear another word about the DZ hit last night not getting penalized. Ovi just rocketed himself into McDonagh’s numbers. Vicious, nasty hit.

Mac better come back. If not, boys better hack, hit, and harass Ovi all night!

    • VinceR says:

DZ hit was also totally clean. That Ovi hit was total bull.

Well, got through 20. If we don’t score another and it’s 1-0 late in the 3rd, no beer in the apartment will be safe. And bodegas, consider yourself warned.

      • Chris F says:

Yea, Del Zotto’s hit was clean in terms of the contact made. I suppose one could make the argument that it was lat, though I disagree with that assessment.

Nevertheless, it’s all the Caps fanbase has been whining about today.

Wonder what they have to say about that Ovi hit?

  2. Spozo says:

I should have called off work tonight. I’m completely useless here listening to this.

    • Chris F says:

Missing one hell of a game, Spozy.

      • Spozo says:

Tune-in radio app is keeping part of my sanity but I wish I was at home in front of the big screen with a cold one in my hand!

I’ll just tell myself I’m saving my call offs for the later rounds.

  4. Chris F says:

I don’t believe what I’m seeing! 3-0… what’s got into these boys? Oh, that’s right, cheap shot Ovechkin! Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. Dave says:

Game is in Hank’s hands now.

  6. cnp says:

Gotta say, I much prefer my cautious optimism that I have now, over the overwhelming sense of dread/looming heart attack that normally engulfs me prior to a third period

  7. Jeff P says:

Be careful now, Boston just came back from three down to tie.

  8. Jeff P says:

    5? Am I dreaming?

  9. VinceR says:

Man, I hate that Torts makes them sit on leads. Do we have to wait until the end of the game to fire him? STIFLES OFFENSE! LOUD NOISES! FIRE HIM!

  10. VinceR says:

Also, can I get a shout out for any idiot who said Hank is not a playoff goalie?

  11. Dave says:

So in this playoff series we heard that Torts is a bad coach and that Hank isn’t a playoff goalie.
