  • Always interesting to see the poll after a win vs. after a loss. I do agree there are lots of positives happening right now. Zibby looks to be coming alive. Panarin is back, Shesty getting better, Kraftsov in town and yes, Brett Howden sitting a game out. I would like to see Chytil and LaFren hit the score sheet.

  • It is time that our kids start shouldering more of the load. Sure our top stars need to shine, but Kakko, and others need to make more of an impact. Fox and Miller are holding up their end of the bargain, but Kakko, Gauthier, LaFren and even Lemieux need to do more for this team. We need balanced scoring, not all points coming from our top 2 lines.

  • In a year without a real pre-season, the youngest team in the league occasionally routs a high-end opponent, even with elite players either missing outright or missing in action. The defense of largely 1st and 2nd year players is progressing better than expected. Teenagers on offense are showing flashes and aren’t liabilities. I just don’t feel like Shesterkin’s career will be derailed by groin injuries. The whole team is like a high-end 20 year old in how it seems to be developing. We’ll get there. 9.

  • The team is young. Can’t seem to get all parts working on all cylinders constantly. Would be nice to see kids and vets contributing to all parts of every game. Much to be excited about, but still dying for playoff hockey.

  • There are games where one can see what this team can be, and I believe will be, in the near future. The youngsters are gaining valuable experience now. Kravtsov will be too soon. Mika will be alright and so will Igor. I believe Georgiev will be too because Benny will straighten out his confidence. Things are looking up in Ranger land. I am still stubbornly at 9.

    • I agree … people have unrealistic expectations. Sure we all want to see more consistency, we all want Kakko to score a point per game pace, we all want every draft pick to turn into a star, etc., but that’s not happening in the real world — for the Rangers, for any NHL team.

      • A season can be defined by good, consistent play. It does not always have to be about winning.

This year, too many “no show” games. It’s unacceptable, no matter the make up of the roster.

  • Need a new coach with NHL experience. Too much line juggling. Quinn keeps playing Howden, I just don’t get it?
