• The Rangers signed Igor Shesterkin to a four year contract extension. It would have been nice to be longer, but it’s a good deal for both parties. His style suits him well for the long haul, which bodes well for the Rangers.
• Brennan Othmann was also signed to an ELC, which was interesting timing.
• Chris Drury is going for it with how he’s building the roster. But there is still work to be done, and there are no half measures. It makes you wonder what will happen if no more trades happen this offseason.
