• In this week’s Patreon post (subscribe here!), Dave talked the Kaapo Kakko trade rumors, and why the right deal could make sense. But it must be the right deal.
• With Filip Chytil done for the year, the 2024 trade deadline plans may have changed. Perhaps this is why we heard Kaapo Kakko’s name in trade rumors.
• Or perhaps it was Calgary leaking Kakko’s name (and the Rangers interest in Elias Lindholm) to get Vancouver to up their offer. The Rangers dodged a bullet on Lindholm. It’s not hard to connect the dots.
