The 2021 World Juniors rosters are set. The NY Rangers will be sending four prospects to the tournament. Brett Berard and Hunter Skinner will suit up for Team USA. Braden Schneider and Dylan Garand will play for Team Canada.
It’s worth noting that the Rangers were going to send five, likely six, to the tournament. However Karl Henriksson (Sweden) and Mat Robertson (Canada) were sent home for COVID reasons.
Leevi Aaltonen was cut from the Finland World Juniors roster. The Rangers also held back Kaapo Kakko (Finland) and Alexis Lafreniere (Canada).
