Karl Henriksson has been replaced on Sweden’s 2021 World Juniors roster. Not confirmed yet, but it looks like he tested positive for COVID-19. Henriksson will not participate in team activities and will not be on the roster for the World Juniors.
This is obviously a blow for Sweden, as Henriksson was set to center their top line. As for Henriksson, this was his last year to play in the tournament, so that’s a bit rough for him as well.
Henriksson has been replaced by Oscar Bjerselius.
