The goaltending carousel continues, as the Rangers have recalled goalie Louis Domingue from the AHL. Domingue was part of the quartet sent down yesterday, and his recall was the only one we should have expected, although we may see the other three called up before Sunday’s game.

Dylan Garand started for Hartford last night, and will presumably get at least one more game this weekend as Hartford is in the middle of three games in three nights. If neither Jonathan Quick nor Igor Shesterkin are ready for Sunday, then Garand likely gets tonight’s game for Hartford and is then recalled for the Ranger game on Sunday.

It would still be a bit surprising to see the Rangers recall Jonny Brodzinski and/or Connor Mackey, since they haven’t cracked the lineup yet. No need to carry the extra two cap space weights when Hartford has a game on Sunday as well.
