Another NY Rangers prospect joins the Hartford Wolf Pack, with center Adam Edstrom assigned to the Pack for their stretch playoff push. Edstrom joins Adam Sykora as newcomers to the Pack this week. Both will be key additions to a Hartford team that is competing for a playoff spot, and will be a nice infusion of skill (Sykora) and size (Edstrom).

Edstrom, the Rangers 6th round pick in 2019, almost doubled his offensive output this season in the SHL as a 22 year old. His 9-10-19 in 42 games were career highs across the board. The 6’7, 220 lb center still has a long way to go before he carves out an NHL career. He’s not a high end prospect by any means, but the right development may turn him into a decent 4C.
Edstrom signed his ELC in May 2022, leaving him with two more years on his ELC. It’s assumed he will be in Hartford next season.
