The NY Rangers traded Ryan Reaves to the Minnesota Wild around Thanksgiving for a 5th round draft pick. The rumor was Reaves had requested the trade, and Chris Drury got the job done within a day or two. In hindsight, that seems off, and Reaves confirmed there was something already being discussed with Minnesota.
