Here we go again. Another Game 7 after a dramatic series comeback. This time, instead of coming back from down 3-1, the Rangers came back from down 2-0 and 3-2 against the most well balanced team in the Eastern Conference. Carolina is very beatable, but they haven’t lost at home yet this postseason. Something has to give.
The Rangers will need to play close to a perfect game and get some better road coaching too. It’s easier said than done, of course, but it can be done. The Rangers played very well in Game 1 of this series at PNC, so a performance like that should do the trick. Igor will need to be Igor, but the pressure lies solely with the top guns, as they need to deliver. Again.
