It is now a best of three between the Rangers and the Hurricanes. For the Rangers, they’ve been trending in the right direction, with each game better than the last. The bad news is that two of the three are away from MSG. Still, it’s hard to count them out of it with the high end skill and Igor Shesterkin in net.
Carolina hasn’t been getting many offensive chances, but they’ve also been good at taking away the Rangers chances. This certainly hasn’t been a track meet series, but both teams have the offensive firepower to turn it into one very quickly. A track meet may favor the Rangers, given the advantage in net, but the Canes have a ton of skill too.
