The Rangers didn’t deserve to win Game 1, but they also should have won Game 1. But that doesn’t matter anymore, as now they are in a “really should win Game 2” situation, as the Penguins are playing their third string goalie. That doesn’t guarantee anything though, especially with both teams fatigued after 100+ minutes of hockey on Tuesday night.

Ryan Lindgren is likely to play, which is good news for the Rangers. Benefiting the Rangers also is Rickard Rakell and Casey DeSmith are out. But they may get Jason Zucker back tonight. Lots of injuries on both teams. Either way, the Rangers need to be better than they were in Game 1, or else this will be a quick series.
