Former future Ranger Mark Giordano might actually happen, this time for real. Ryan Leslie is reporting that the Rangers are one of three front runners for the defenseman.

You might remember Giordano was linked to the Rangers in the offseason, but nothing came of it. Giordano would be an instant upgrade on Patrik Nemeth, and would give the Rangers the flexibility to keep Zac Jones in Hartford until next season.
