If the Rangers play a game, and no one is awake to watch, did it really happen? That’s what it feels like, as the Rangers are in Vegas for a 10pm game tonight. I personally won’t be awake for most of this game. That’s how it goes on the west coast swings. But this should be a good one tonight, as both the Rangers and Vegas are solid teams.

The last time these two teams met, the Rangers lost in a shootout at MSG after surrendering the tying goal late in the third period. The Rangers managed just five shot attempts in that period and had a poor process game. Maybe this time Brett Howden won’t score, but we all know that’s coming. Again.

This is also Ryan Reaves’ return to Vegas. I’m sure he will get a nice ovation.
