The Rangers start their next trip out west tonight against Colorado, a team that crushed them at MSG a week ago. That game was a bit of a schedule loss, but it was also right smack in the middle of this current five game run of pretty bad process. This isn’t even about quality of opponent either, the Rangers have just reverted back to some of their bad habits. Stretches like this do happen, so it’s about limiting the damage and getting back on track.

The Avs are still one of the better teams in the league, and are one of the favorites to come out of the west this year. What they did to the Rangers last week had little to do with Adam Huska, and more to do with overall team skill and a Rangers team that didn’t play that well. We like to say the Rangers need to perform against the good teams, and this is another opportunity.
