The Rangers and Sabres are back in action again tonight in what could be a spoiler game for both teams. The Rangers are just barely clinging to playoff life. The Sabres can end all hope tonight. This is definitely a trap game for the Rangers. But then again, any game against Buffalo or New Jersey is a trap game.

It’s funny to me. Whenever the Rangers play the Sabres or Devils, they are in the playoff race. The minute they face a real team, they are out of the playoff race. It shows they are a step ahead of the two bad teams, and in a different division they are likely a playoff team. There’s a lot to love about this team’s future. Let’s enjoy these games while they are relatively meaningless. They won’t be for long.
