rangers bruins kaapo kakko

The Rangers have dropped three in a row to the Penguins and Bruins, and are now trying to simply survive. A second sweep to one of the best teams in the division doesn’t bode well for the Rangers at all. They also have a pair of games against the Flyers next, followed by the Caps. That’s eight straight against the top four in the division. If they don’t win tonight, the best they can do is .500, and that’s highly unlikely.

The Rangers do get Artemi Panarin back today, which is good. The offense has been anemic outside of those Devils games, and Panarin should at least draw some attention. But the Rangers won’t win if they don’t shut down that top Bruins line. Getting a save here and there helps too.
