The Rangers continue their road trip in Buffalo, fresh off their no-show on Tuesday. The Rangers were flat the other day, and Buffalo walked all over them for 40 minutes. By the time the Rangers woke up, it was too late. Their kids are carrying them, but it’s on the vets to step up and stop the skid.
Igor Shesterkin is in net, as the Rangers continue to alternate starts with their goalies. It looks like David Quinn will do that until someone gets hot, then ride the hot hand. Or at least, that’s my assumption. But goaltending won’t matter if half the team is skating in mud.
