The Rangers and Hurricanes are at it on the second of a back to back, but at least it’s a night game. The Rangers are in dire straits, needing a win to keep their season going. The Rangers have not been able to get anything going against Carolina, but they are at least defending a little better.
The buck stops with the best players on the roster. Every single one of them needs to be better. While it’s promising to see the great postseasons from Ryan Lindgren and Kaapo Kakko, they shouldn’t be the best players on the team. The top-six needs to perform. The best defensemen need to produce. The entire team just needs to be better.
