Best of the decade posts:
Ranking the seasons part 1
Ranking the seasons part 2
Best regular season game
Best playoff game

As the 2010’s come to a close, there have been a lot of good memories for the Rangers. The decade was one of the best in Rangers history, with seven playoff appearances, nine playoff series wins, two Eastern Conference Finals appearances and one Stanley Cup Finals appearance. As we round out the close of the decade, I polled the BSB writers for their top moments. Here is what we thought were the best playoff moments:

Rob L: Marty St. Louis, bar down, 5/25/14 in OT v. Montreal. That team was so good and St. Louis was so fun to watch. Also, as a kid you practice that shot usually with no goalie, because very few have the courage to try that in a game, let alone pull it off. He probably knew it when he let go that he put it where it needed to be, amazing.

Tyler: Derek Stepan sending us to the ECF in 2015. Hank gave them a chance all night, but I was really worried in that game; especially when Ovechkin scored first. Stepan winning it just relieved all of those worries cause it’d be a new series…if only I knew what awaited me that round as a fan…

Pat: The Dan Carcillo moments against Philly, make everyone in that city mad.

Rob C: Martin St. Louis’ OT winner vs. the Habs in Game 4 of the 2014 ECF. I’m slightly biased here because I was in attendance, but I will never forget the utter bedlam of 18,000 people going crazy at MSG after that puck went in.

Becky: Three words: six point six. The Joel Ward high stick. The absolute madness. The two Callahan almost goals. The celebration. Give me that every day of my life, please.

Dave: This.
