rangers hurricanes

After last night’s strong win against a bad Detroit Red Wings team, the Rangers are in Raleigh to take on the playoff bound Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes have always been a well run team from a puck possession standpoint, and now have finally added that high end skill to complement that possession. The end result is a good team.

On paper this should be a mismatch. Then again the games against Tampa and Nashville should have been mismatches as well. As they say, that’s why you play the game. Although I can see this getting ugly quickly in the second of a back-to-back against a fast team like the Canes.
