For the first time in 20 years, the Rangers are one win away from the Stanley Cup Finals. They found a way to win a Game Four that they didn’t deserve to win, and now hold a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Canadiens. Derek Stepan is a maybe go for tonight. If he can’t go, one of JesperFast/Oscar Lindberg will dress for the injured J.T. Miller.

Suit wrote a preview of the series, and you should definitely be reading that. Justin also scouted out Carey Price, and if this series goes beyond tonight we may see him back in net. It’s time to end this series, and get some much-needed rest.

I’m bored with Montreal, let’s get them out of the way tonight!!!!!!

  2. Bloomer says:

I think they will go with Quickie on the 4th line. I like to see the kid do well tonight. The Rangers need to come out hard tonight and keep Montreal off balanced. Press their dmen and they will cough up the puck. LGR.

    Dave:
Any word on the severity of JT Miller’s shoulder?

Not that I don’t appreciate Stepan’s key role, and burgeoning grit, truth be told I was intrigued to see the kid Lindberg get some shifts tonight.

Imagine what a boon it would’ve been to the young Swede’s poise and development.

    Boyle gets the winner tonight.

Of all the people….Lundqvuist…3 bad goals…unreal

    • Rangers Fan in Boston says:

Splitting hairs here, but the 1st and 4th goals weren’t on him. Deserved pull however.

  5. Rangers Fan in Boston says:

Not giving up with a period and a half left, but this is just ugly. And now my Ranger fandom creeps in.

  6. Leatherneckinlv says:

Man, to tie it then give up a goal….I still like our chances to win…I feel an OT game

  7. Leatherneckinlv says:

Montreal what a bunch of cheaters…they deserve to lose…PK Subban and his acting classes…ughhh

  8. Rangers Fan in Boston says:

Lots of defensive breakdowns for the goal recap tomorrow. Boy o boy.

  9. Rangers Fan in Boston says:

Won’t be seeing john moore for the next two games.

And effectively ended this game. Wow. Way to keep your composure.

      • Chris F says:

5 minutes major and game misconduct on the hit, this may mitigate the suspension at least a game since Prust got away scot free on his hit. Plus if Wiese is fine that could come into their decision making.

  10. Leatherneckinlv says:

That was a 2 minute penalty…Prust got Zero Moore gets 5…Bullshit

  11. Chris. C says:

Moore is gonna get 6 games since it was a Canadian. Just too bad it wasn’t Subban

  12. Chris. C says:

I hate the f@€king Canadians just as much as smelladelphia. And here comes that BS garbage song.

  13. Leatherneckinlv says:

We will win at home…Karma…Referees are the cause of this….They are so skewed with the way they call stuff. It is way inconsistent.

Lundqvuist was the reason we lost tonight. We never had a chance in momentum. I still liked how we lost…they showed fight and took chances…Next game will be Nasty

  14. Bloomer says:

Regroup and come out hard on Thursday, the Rangers slow start in the first and second periods hurt them tonight. John Moore can sure hit whens he’s fired up. That hit on Weise wasn’t late but he did get his elbow up a bit…could get a couple games suspension.

  15. Walt says:

Kreider set the tone for the game some 20 seconds in, and Montreal scores on the PP. We played a BS game, Hanks worst in a long time, but we got it out of our system, and we have to end this crap on thursday night on MSG ice!!
