Per Mollie Walker, Jonathan Quick will play his final NHL game tonight against the Florida Panthers. This was rather expected, as Quick’s play the last two seasons have been the worst of his Hall of Fame career. Quick will end his NHL career with a line of 410-306-90, a GAA of 2.51, and a SV% of .910. Naturally this will change slightly after tonight, but unless he allows 50 goals on 50 shots, the main numbers won’t change much, if at all.

Quick’s Rangers tenure was surprisingly solid when it mattered. The Rangers were a true Cup contender in Quick’s first year, where he put up .911 save percentage as the Rangers made a run to the Eastern Conference Final. His last two seasons have been below expectations with a .893 SV%, but the Rangers have also been hot garbage the last two years.

Quick is likely a first ballot Hall of Famer. His Rangers legacy will be mixed due to the 2014 Stanley Cup Final, as I know I’m still a bit bitter. He gave it his all for the Rangers over the last three years though, and he should be celebrated across the league and by Ranger fans.
