The Rangers finally won a game on Monday night, beating the Boston Bruins in overtime. Now the post-Carson Soucy era begins, with the Rangers shipping him over the Triborough Bridge to the New York Islanders, who just happen to be tonight’s opponent. There will be no heartfelt Car-son, Car-son chants, but Soucy put in the work and effort that so many Rangers now don’t. He wasn’t good, but at least the effort was there.

Oh, the Islanders are also pretty bad defensively. Both teams usually wake up for these games, so it will be interesting to see if the Rangers can build off their momentum.
