- Vincent Trocheck returned to the Rangers to start the week, arriving with the newly recalled Gabe Perreault. Perreault was returned to Hartford due to Will Borgen’s injury (Scott Morrow was recalled), but he will be back.

- The Rangers signed goalie Spencer Martin to a two year contract to help with the struggles in Hartford.
