Rangers prospect Jaroslav Chmelar, recalled earlier this week, will make his NHL debut tomorrow for the Rangers. He draws into the fourth line in place of Adam Edstrom tonight as Mike Sullivan threw all of the lines into a blender. It’s great that Chmelar is playing, but sitting Edstrom is certainly a curious move. In addition, Connor Mackey will dress in place of Matthew Robertson, which appears to be more of a sideways move, but if Robertson isn’t getting it done, it’s not worth losing sleep over.

Will Cuylle-JT Miller-Alexis Lafreniere
Artemi Panarin-Mika Zibanejad-Taylor Raddysh
Conor Sheary-Noah Laba-Jonny Brodzinski
Jaroslav Chmelar-Sam Carrick-Juuso Parssinen

Vlad Gavrikov-Adam Fox
Connor Mackey-Will Borgen
Carson Soucy-Braden Schneider

If you’re looking at that blue line and gagging a bit, you’re not alone.

Vincent Trocheck and Urho Vaakanainen are traveling with the Rangers, though Trocheck is confirmed not playing.
