The Rangers lineup tonight will have more NHLers dressing, with JT Miller, Mika Zibanejad, and Alexis Lafreniere highlighting the top half of the lineup. Vincent Trocheck, Adam Fox, Carson Soucy will also be dressing and playing in the top half of the lineup. This group will have far more talent than the last two groups as the training camp battles continue and some of the projected outcomes become clearer.

Other notables tonight include Brennan Othmann, Dylan Roobroeck, Brett Berard, Noah Laba, Gabe Perreault, Scott Morrow, and Jackson Dorrington. All are heavily involved in roster battles, even if most won’t be on the NHL roster to start the season. Othmann in particular needs a much stronger showing tonight to hold off guys like Laba, Perreault, and Roobroeck. Morrow has the inside track for the 6D spot, but Dorrington has looked good thus far too.

Conor Sheary will continue to get a long look, as he is insurance on these kids and the rest of their preseason/camp performances.

Update: Looks like Dorrington isn’t playing. Per Colin Stephenson, the lines will be

Gabe Perreault-JT Miller-Mika Zibanejad
Alexis Lafreniere-Vincent Trocheck-Brennan Othmann
Brett Berard-Noah Laba-Conor Sheary
Adam Edstrom-Dylan Roobroeck-Matt Rempe

Carson Soucy-Adam Fox
Matthew Robertson-Will Borgen
Derrick Pouliot-Scott Morrow

Jonathan Quick
Dylan Garand
