• The 2025 draft is done. The Blueshirts made 8 picks, and were inactive in the trade market. They sent the 12th overall to Pittsburgh.
  • Round 2 (#43): Malcolm Spence, Wing
  • Round 3 (#70): Sean Barnhill, Defense
  • Round 3 (#89): Artyom Gonchar, Defense
  • Round 4 (#111): Mikkel Eriksen, Center
  • Round 5 (#139): Zeb Lindgren, Defense
  • Round 6 (#166): Samuel Jung, Wing
  • Round 6 (#171): Evan Passmore, Defense

• The Rangers made all 8 of their scheduled picks, and none of my draft day predictions were accurate. Sad.
• But the Rangers did pick someone on Hope’s preferred mock draft (Mikkel Eriksen).
• Carson Soucy may remain a Ranger next year. At some point you need to trust Mike Sullivan, I guess.
• JJ Peterka was traded, and it wasn’t to the Rangers.
• Naturally there were more rumors:
  • Vlad Gavrikov is likely to be a Ranger and is going to get a massive contract.
  • The Rangers were “in it” for the #3 overall, but nothing materialized.
  • We speculated some potential K’Andre Miller trades. He’s still a Ranger which means the market likely dried up.
• The Rangers re-signed Adam Edstrom to a 2 year contract.
