The hits keep coming for the Rangers. Igor Shesterkin, who looked off against the Penguins last night and since Ryan Lindgren shoved someone into him last week, is out 1-2 weeks with an upper body injury. Luckily for the Rangers, this means he misses one game (tonight). Jonathan Quick will get the start in Columbus in a must win game to save their season.

With Shesterkin out, the Rangers have recalled goalie Dylan Garand from Hartford. Garand, an AHL All Star this season, has a .913 SV% this year in Hartford and is continuing to improve. He likely won’t play tonight, and if he does then things have probably gone horribly wrong.
