The Rangers get their first ever game in Utah tonight, taking on the former Arizona Coyotes to wrap up their road trip. The Blueshirts are looking better, though not perfect, as they continue through a rough part of the schedule before returning home. There are no lineup changes from their overtime loss in Denver the other night, a game they probably should have nabbed two points.

But it’s onto the next, and while normally Utah would be a push over, this year is different. Utah is a pretty strong hockey team that is trending in the right direction. Karel Vejmelka has the makings of a solid goalie, and he’s one of the main reasons why Utah isn’t in the cellar again this season. Utah is young and talented, even if they haven’t put it all together just yet.
