The NY Rangers lines tonight will have two changes from Sunday’s debacle against Seattle. First, Brett Berard is in, returning from his injury that kept him out of the lineup last week. Jimmy Vesey will be the odd man out, as expected. Though Berard played in the top-nine initially, he’s likely to be on the fourth line tonight as Reilly Smith stays in the lineup.
Igor Shesterkin will also return after a one game absence due to the birth of his daughter. Shesterkin was supposed to play Sunday, but naturally this took priority.
The Rangers were better against Seattle in the macro, but the chances they did give up were egregious and the goaltending didn’t help. Hopefully they shore things up a bit.
