Per Vince Mercogliano, the NY Rangers lines tonight are going in the blender. First, Chris Kreider is out for an upper body injury and is day to day. Despite the rumors, I think it’s ok to take that at face value. At least for now. Given his injury, the Filip Chytil injury, and the recent recalls of Brett Berard and Matt Rempe, it’s expected the lines are going to look very different:

Artemi Panarin-Vincent Trocheck-Alexis Lafreniere
Brett Berard-Mika Zibanejad-Will Cuylle
Adam Edstrom-Kaapo Kakko-Reilly Smith
Jonny Brodzinski-Sam Carrick-Matt Rempe

It’s worth noting that Vince had Jimmy Vesey in at 4RW, but that is going to be Rempe’s spot once he arrives. He didn’t make it to the morning skate in time.

The defense pairs remain unchanged.
