The Rangers are back in action tonight in Vancouver for their second game of this western Canada and Seattle road trip. The Rangers played a strong game without Filip Chytil in Seattle on Sunday night, and are looking to do the same before Chytil (hopefully) returns against Calgary. The big puck moving issue seems to be working itself out now that the optimal defense pairs are together, which bodes well for the future.
JT Miller took a leave of absence today from Vancouver for personal reasons, so the Canucks will be without one of their top players. The Canucks are still dangerous, and the combination of Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson is enough to beat most NHL teams, so one key absence does not mean the Canucks are pushovers. They are a very good team.
We hope everything is ok with Miller.
