The majority of the NY Rangers lines tonight will be the same, with none of the defense pairs changing and the top-nine remaining the same. We will see Jonny Brodzinski replace Matt Rempe in the lineup as the only change heading into tonight’s game against the Ottawa Senators. The move is expected, as Rempe will likely be returned to Hartford this weekend once Jimmy Vesey is activated off LTIR.
It’s odd that Zac Jones continues to be the odd man out on defense though, as his ability to move the puck out of the zone is certainly needed. He’s not perfect by any stretch, but he’s been arguably better than Victor Mancini thus far. That’s not an opinion, that’s statistical fact for now. Looks like Jones will once again be injury depth this season, by no fault of his own.
