Per Vince Mercogliano, Jimmy Vesey is skating in full without a non-contact jersey, and it looks like his return to the lineup is imminent. Vesey has been on LTIR since the start of the season–October 7–with a lower body injury suffered in the preseason. The exact date matters, as LTIR rules state Vesey can’t return until 24 days and 10 games have passed. That will happen after the 11/1 game against Ottawa.

In his stead, Jonny Brodzinski has fit in nicely with Adam Edstrom and Sam Carrick on the fourth line, as this trio has not been on the ice for a 5v5 goal yet this season. It’s expected Vesey will jump into some rotation with Brodzinski as the 4RW, while Matt Rempe is returned to Hartford for more ice time.
