Per Vince Mercogliano, the NY Rangers lines tonight will likely have a fourth line of Adam Edstrom-Sam Carrick-Jonny Brodzinski, which means Matt Rempe will be a healthy scratch. This isn’t a surprise, as Edstrom has outplayed everyone on that fourth line, and it’s likely he took Rempe’s spot for the moment. As for Carrick and Brodzinski, we will see where everything falls in Decemeber before passing judgment.

Perhaps more importantly, we are going to see a K’Andre Miller-Adam Fox pair tonight, something many have been clamoring for. On the downside, we will be getting a Braden Schneider-Jacob Trouba pair as the shutdown pair. This won’t be a final pair so there’s no reason to get up in arms yet. Still, I would’ve preferred Jones-Schneider and Mancini-Trouba, but playing Mancini on his off-side might have been risky.
