The Florida Panthers finished their series with the Boston Bruins in 6 games, and are now set for a date with the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Final. The series won’t start until Wednesday, giving both teams a good amount of rest. The full Eastern Conference Final schedule will have both teams playing prime time each night, save for one game at 3pm during Memorial Day Weekend.
The series begins this Wednesday, May 22, and will continue every other day through June 3, if necessary. The Rangers are currently the betting underdogs…again…against the favored Panthers. Seems odd that the President’s Trophy winners are the underdogs for the second straight series, but we don’t make the betting odds.
The Panthers will present a similar challenge to the Carolina Hurricanes, just with much better finish talent and a far better goalie.
Stay tuned here for more previews on the Eastern Conference Final this week.
