The NY Rangers lines tonight will likely be unchanged from Game 5’s clunker, even if there was some drama leading up to it. Chris Kreider missed practice yesterday for “maintenance,” but was on the ice this morning and it’s likely he will play tonight.

Both Filip Chytil and Matt Rempe were at the morning skate as well, signaling Jonny Brodzinski will be the 12F tonight, but that is still up in the air. Chytil is very clearly not in game shape just yet, which is expected, but did look better with each passing shift in Game 3. Rempe, unfortunately, is just a matchup risk in Raleigh.

On defense, we may see K’Andre Miller-Jacob Trouba pair reunited, as they were paired together in practice. That would leave Erik Gustafsson and Braden Schneider together. This may be to eliminate one of Rod Brind’Amour’s key matchup preferences, getting Sebastian Aho out against the Gustafsson-Trouba pairing.
