Adam Fox has missed his second straight practice after not skating this morning with the “spirited” Rangers. As you may recall, Fox took a pretty blatant knee on knee hit in Game 4 against the Washington Capitals. He returned and finished the game, but hasn’t been on the ice since.

Since Filip Chytil was the fill-in on PP1 for Fox, this isn’t expected to be too serious. If the Rangers were planning for life without Fox, they’d have Erik Gustafsson on PP1 in practice. Fox will probably be good to go by Sunday’s Game 1, even if not 100%.

Or, of course, these could be head games and Peter Laviolette wants the Carolina Hurricanes to think Adam Fox is playing. Everything is a possibility in the postseason.
