Per Colin Stephenson, Ryan Lindgren returns tonight for the Rangers in Colorado, taking his natural spot next to Adam Fox on the Rangers top defense pair. I’m sure Lindgren wouldn’t be playing if there were more risk of injuring himself, but at some point someone needs to have a chat with him about which games matter and perhaps an extended break isn’t a bad idea.
Perhaps I am overreacting.
Looks like Matt Rempe might be the odd-man out for #NYR. Lines are as follows:
Kreider-Zibanejad-Roslovic
Panarin-Trocheck-Lafrenière
Brodzinski-Wennberg-Kakko
Cuylle-Goodrow-Vesey— Mollie Walker (@MollieeWalkerr) March 28, 2024
As for up front, Matt Rempe will be the healthy scratch tonight, which makes sense given Colorado’s lineup. Jonny Brodzinski offers a bit more speed to keep up with the Avs. He will be on the third line tonight, which is a bit of a surprise. This might be an attempt to get a bit more offense out of 4L without sacrificing 3L’s shutdown ability.
