Rangers recall Adam Edstrom

The Rangers have recalled forward Adam Edstrom from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Edstrom was the roster casualty following the trade deadline, and was returned after the Rangers traded for both Alex Wennberg and Jack Roslovic. It’s assumed that his recall is due to Jonny Brodzinski’s egregious turnover in the second period last night.

Edstrom will likely be up through the weekend with Matt Rempe suspended before he gets returned to Hartford. Since he doesn’t have to pass through waivers, it is expected he, and not Brodzinski will be returned to the AHL.
