The Rangers have re-signed Louis Domingue to a 1 year contract extension with an NHL cap hit of $775,000. Domingue has primarily been with the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, appearing in 24 games and putting up a .910 SV% and one shutout. Domingue also made a spot start this season, stopping 25 of 26 shots in a win over the Minnesota Wild.
It is expected that Domingue will again split time with prospect Dylan Garand in Hartford next season, giving the Rangers a formidable 1-2 punch in net. Both are sporting .910 save-percentages this season.
