The Rangers just can’t buy a break lately. Ryan Lindgren will not return tonight after being hit awkwardly in the first period against the Vegas Golden Knights. With Lindgren hurt, the Rangers will play with 5 defensemen, making their new defense pairs somewhat moot for this game. This team really just needs to get to the break, don’t they?
On the bright side, this team usually melts down with Lindgren hurt. But since they can’t really meltdown any more, they may not have that chance. That’s good, right?
