Rangers Recap: What just happened?

All the good will earned with their comeback in Anaheim has vanished in a flash. Remember when the Rangers swept a western road trip earlier in the season? Where is that team right now? There was zero pushback when the Sharks started to apply some pressure. Then in overtime, you saw a team just quit when a call didn’t go their way. Mika Zibanejad got interfered with and didn’t stay on the play. That’s 3 of 8 possible points, and only 1 win on this road trip.

These guys are human and no matter what they might say to media, they are probably thinking of their vacation coming up with the bye-week and the All Star break. Just a miserable road trip. They really just lost to a team who did this during the game.

I don’t even think this game is worth recapping any further, just flat out embarrassing. The great goals by Artemi Panarin and Adam Fox earlier in the game meant nothing in the end. Laviolette would be in his right to make these jokers walk back to New York before they play Vegas again Friday.
