Vincent Trocheck will be joining Igor Shesterkin at the 2024 All Star Game, per Mollie Walker. Trocheck will be replacing the injured Jack Eichel and Connor Bedard. Trocheck is one of the MVPs of the Rangers this season, and is second on the team in points behind Artemi Panarin. Remember, Panarin would have been an All Star, but opted out as his wife is due around that time.
Trocheck has been a bit of a marvel this season. His 15-29-44 line is 2nd on the Rangers in points, 2nd in assists, and third (tied) in goals. It looks like the NHL was going by the fan vote for replacements, so he wasn’t “that far down the list” despite what other outlets may say.
