Rangers confidence is building with a strong win in Vegas

The Rangers, winners of two in a row after a four game losing streak, travel out west to start a four game trip against Vegas and the California teams. The Rangers will face two playoff teams in this stretch, including tonight in Vegas. The defending Stanley Cup champs are still pretty good, but sit in second in the Pacific due to an upstart Vancouver team playing above their heads. Vegas, Dallas, and Colorado are still the cream of the crop in the West.

The good news is the Rangers are a much more complete team now that some injuries are starting to heal. Igor Shesterkin is also starting to round into form again. The Rangers were never going to be perfect, and hopefully that four game losing streak (and six of eight) is a thing of the past. We will certainly find out.
