Slovakia is now 2-0 at the 2024 World Juniors shutting out Switzerland by a 3-0 score. Slovakia is no joke at this year’s tournament, and is poised to finish, at worst, in 2nd place in Group B. While they will most likely be behind the USA, these two teams have not met in round robin play yet.
Adam Sykora again led the way, with 20:07 TOI and a +2 rating in the game. Sykora, the team’s captain, has been among the team leaders in TOI thus far.
Slovakia will try to make it 3-0 on Friday against Norway. Slovakia and Team USA don’t play until New Year’s Eve.
