After last night’s loss to Edmonton, essentially where the Rangers no-showed in the third period, the Blueshirts are looking to rebound before the holiday break. The Sabres are healthy, unlike the last time these two teams faced off, with both Tage Thompson and Jack Quinn back in the lineup. The Sabres can score, but they can’t really defend much. That usually bodes well for the Rangers.

Igor Shetserkin gets the start after Jonathan Quick’s heroics weren’t enough last night against the Oilers. There are no other lineup changes for the Blueshirts.
