Per Matej Deraj (untranslated), Rangers prospect Adam Sykora will play for Slovakia at the 2024 World Juniors. Sykora, the Rangers 2nd round pick in 2022, has had a good start to his North American career this year in Hartford, with 3 goals and 11 points in 24 games thus far. He had 1 assist in 6 games (4 playoff games) last season with the Pack.

A reminder that Sykora is still just 19 years old, and won’t turn 20 until September 2024. He’s close to 0.5 points per game in the AHL, which is impressive for a kid so young. He’s feisty and skilled, and while he may need another year to fill out, he’s looking like a solid pick for the Rangers.
