After a bit of a rough loss in Ottawa, the Rangers are looking to rebound against the worst Washington Capitals team we’ve seen in at least a decade, possibly longer. The Caps are just not good, which we all knew was coming at some point. However that doesn’t mean the Rangers should look past them with the LA Kings coming to town tomorrow. The Caps are bad, but it’s still Alex Ovechkin.
The Blueshirts may be without another forward tonight, hence the Riley Nash call up the other day. I guess it’s good the Rangers are getting all their injuries out of the way now, but it’s difficult to watch multiple AHL players play significant minutes at the NHL level. Hopefully the injury bug goes away soon. But as long as the Blueshirts keep banking points, it’s fine.
